Jakarta Provincial Government insists to frees citizen's land that affected by Ciliwung waterway project. This should be taken because the waterway will be connected to East Flood Canal (KBT) to handle flood in capital.

"This project is under Public Works Ministry. Our (Jakarta Provincial Government) duty is only acquire the land," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama at City Hall, Friday (2/20).
He added, although the citizens insist to refuse the Ciliwung waterway project, the land acquisition will be continued.

Basuki continued, Jakarta Provincial Government will relocate citizens that affected by the project to the flat, so the citizens no need to confuse in finding a new place to live.
"We have flats, and we are going to ask them to live in it because the project should be continued," he disclosed.
